Green Policy
Pinpoint Recruitment recognises that our work may have a direct or indirect effect on the local, regional and global environment. We are committed to reducing any harmful effects on the environment and promoting the understanding of sustainability in its broadest context.
In accordance with the above, our current activities include:
Waste reduction and recycling – wherever possible, we look to reuse or recycle items such as paper, computers and ink cartridges. We continually review our recycling schemes to ensure waste reduction in all the key business materials we use. We have a policy of re-using paper before recycling and also using recycled paper for general business needs.
Purchasing – We always consider the environmental repercussions of any purchases we make. We are careful to take into account the environmental factors involved in production, use and disposal of any products or equipment we buy.
Transport - We encourage the use of public transport, cycling or walking as the preferred form of transport for our staff when travelling to business meetings. We do not have company cars.
Energy and water saving – Fortunately, the type of business we work in already means we have low energy and water consumption. However, we are always looking at how to be more efficient in these areas. We ensure that unnecessary lights, monitors, printers and other office equipment is switched off at the end of each day and not left on stand-by.
